Assistant Accountant

Your new company
My client is a successful and fast-growing manufacturing business based in Central Leicester with turnover of over £10M per year. Due to growth, they are looking to add an Assistant Accountant to their finance team of 5, which includes the Finance Director.
Your new role
The successful candidate will report directly to the Finance Director and act as the lead for transactional finance and reporting.

• Reporting in and maintaining Sage both proactively and on behalf of the Finance Director.
• Payroll inputting.
• Leading the invoicing process for key / large customers.
• Managing complex invoicing.
• P & L and balance sheet reviews via Companies House and Experian reports.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have experience in transactional finance (payroll, sales and purchase ledger) as well as reporting and management accountants. You would also have the ability to step up and cover the Finance Director in key duties and take a leadership role in the department.
