NET Recruit are partnering with a highly successful manufacturing business, to search the market for a Tax Specialist in the Poole areaYour Role While in this role your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Preparing the quarterly and bi-monthly VAT returns for the UK and Ireland
  • Ensuring the preparation for quarterly GST returns in the Channel Islands
  • Helping to ensure the business is completely tax compliant across all areas
  • Supporting on the business tax strategy and creation of policies
  • Managing the tax efficiency in reporting, compliance and advisory across the business
  • Reporting on the ecommerce sales data for 3rd party, reviewing the data that is prepared by tax assistants and ensuring that payments are made on time
  • Handling month-end reporting, ensuring that detailed variance analysis is done
  • Supporting the completion of all corporation tax computations
  • Collecting data to prepare for the quarterly payment on account and the reporting of Management Accounts
  • Preparing accurate reporting and collecting data regarding employment tax
You MUST Have Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria:
  • Qualified AAT, ATT, ACCA, ACA or CIMA
  • Significant experience in an accounting or tax environment
  • Strong knowledge of VAT, Corporation Tax and Employment Tax
  • Previous team and line management experience
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
