About The Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer [CEO], the Chief Financial Officer [CFO] is a new global role at Loam, responsible for the long-term financial health and management of the business, spanning Australia, Brazil, Canada, and the United States of America. Loam's CFO oversees the financial planning and analysis, including: budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. As a member of our executive team, this role will be responsible for setting the strategic financial roadmap, while also owning the tactical management and implementation.

Responsibilities
Fosters a culture of selflessness, relentless self improvement, and innovation, within the Finance team and cross functionally Develops and execute financial strategies to support the company"s immediate, short-term, and long-term goals, in alignment with overall business goalsEnsures compliance with accounting standards, legislation, and corporate governance, including ASIC and the Corporations Act.Participate in global audit programs and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions and suppliersDirect the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial targets in addition to monitoring and reporting on budget performance throughout the year cross functionally Conducts financial analysis and modelling to assess the financial impact of business decisions, identify opportunities for cost optimisation, and drive profitability.Represents the organisation in negotiations, external stakeholder engagement, and funding discussionsPartners with Commercial Operations and Human Resources to draft and manage company incentive programs that drive behaviours, recognition, while balancing the financial needs of the businessManage relationships with banks, investors, board members and other financial stakeholdersOther duties as may be assigned (to be less than 10% of your job scope)
About You
Proven executive financial Financial leadership in businesses that have been series A/B through a successful exit [either IPO and/or acquisition] Prior experience in navigating Founder-Led and/or PE/VC backed businesses and Boards Proven senior-level financial management experience in a global, complex organisation, preferably within agriculture-technology and/or manufacturing 5-10+ years working knowledge of Australian and American Accounting Standards, taxation, and complianceStrong leadership skills, with a focus on coaching, development, and stakeholder relationship management.Demonstrated experience in strategic financial planning and delivering actionable insights to executives and boards.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence key decisions.Familiarity with industry-standard financial software packages and relevant legislation in the not-for-profit sector.Excellent written and verbal communication, the ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation.Demonstrated ability to influence senior management, teams and individuals across multiple cultures, disciplines and geographies Experience with continuous improvement projects in a manufacturing environment Ability to support periodic travel (up to 25%) as needed [includes international travel]
