Lead the Charge in Building Beautiful Business Solutions
Xero is on a mission to make running a business beautiful for small businesses and their advisors. We're looking for an exceptional GM/VP of Engineering to lead our Practice Portfolio team, dedicated to unlocking the full potential of Xero's products for accountants and bookkeepers.
The GM - Engineering will lead, grow, and manage a leadership team and their engineering teams that are accountable for engineering, operational and people excellence resulting in high-quality software and stable applications which improves the quality of life for small businesses and their advisors.
Working closely with Product Management, Architecture and Engineering teams, the GM Engineering provides technical oversight across their portfolio, ensuring the right things are built at the right time and through doing so will contribute to Xero achieving its goals.
As the GM - Engineering, you will be responsible for teams of Xero's that create value for our small businesses and our partners by building and informing the centralised Platform and Enablement strategies.What You'll Do:
    • Drive Impact: Lead the Engineering strategy, development, and delivery of innovative solutions that empower accounting professionals.
    • Build High-Performing Teams: Foster a collaborative, customer-centric engineering culture that thrives on excellence.
    • Deliver Results: Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software that exceeds user expectations.
    • Champion Operational Excellence: Implement robust processes for planning, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
    • Align with Xero's Vision: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to drive Xero's enablement strategy.
