Rare opportunity to join this growth-focused Australian success story with an international distribution channel and footprint. Our client has delivered profitable performance over the past decade, establishing them as a respected and trusted player within the electrical solutions design and distribution sector. They have a clear strategy and intent of realizing 4X revenue growth and 25% EBITDA by 2030 through organic and acquisitive means and seek the services of an experienced finance executive to guide the business through this exciting next chapter.

The business demands discipline around cash flow management; EBITDA Improvement; timeliness and accuracy of monthly reports and results, thereby building a finance foundation for sustainable growth. You will be responsible for managing the financial actions of the company with duties that include tracking cash flow, analyzing strengths and weaknesses to propose corrective action plans when necessary, and preparing accurate forecasts so that management can make informed decisions about future investments or cuts. The role also requires extensive budgeting, forecasting, and business case modeling to guide the ELT on the proposed opportunities for growth with key insights and recommendations. You will champion all financial planning activities and ensure robust risk management by analyzing liabilities and investments, as well as determining investment strategies through careful consideration of cash, liquidity, fundraising plans, and capital structures.

This role will lead a small team and report directly to the CEO with a "seat at the table" for all commercial negotiations, strategic discussions, and business decision-making for the local and overseas entities. The CFO will also have carriage of the company's Finance IT and Data Analytics functions to ensure that there is timely information and access to MIS solutions generating insights and performance metrics.

We are seeking a confident and articulate executive who can demonstrate strong leadership and engagement across the whole of the business function. Previous experience operating in scale-up, mid-sized organizations and demonstrating the capability of leading through to a liquidity event, be it Trade Sale or successful PE Investment outcome, would be viewed favorably. You are comfortable operating in a manufacturing and stock-based environment with several routes to market and have a strong grasp on complex distribution and supply networks. You will be Degree qualified with CPA/CA/CIMA (or equivalent) accreditation.
