Reporting to the CEO, you will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations and providing strategic financial leadership.
What you'll be doing
- Providing strategic financial leadership and guidance to the Executive Leadership Team to support the company's growth objectives
- Overseeing all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance activities
- Analysing financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies
- Developing and implementing robust financial policies, procedures, and controls
- Leading a team of accounting and finance professionals to deliver high-quality, timely financial information
- Collaborating cross-functionally to support business decision-making
- Ensuring the company meets all regulatory, taxation, and statutory reporting requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA or CPA) with 10+ years of senior-level finance experience
- Extensive background in financial management, reporting, and strategic planning, preferably within the rail or construction industry
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
- Strong commercial acumen and business partnering skills to influence key stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with senior executives
- Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements
