ABOUT YOU
You will have at least 2 years' experience using Microsoft Office and an accounting package such as SAP or Sage. MS Excel experience is essential and knowledge of pivot tables will be an advantage.
An eye for detail and the ability to self-manage,
Experience of working for a small company is preferable.

The role has an attractive basic salary of £28-30k (pro-rata), plus a range of benefits to include private health care, Death in Service Scheme, Pension Scheme and free parking

ROLE PURPOSE
- to maintain complete and accurate accounting records
- to prepare information used in monthly management reports
CREDIT CONTROL & SALES LEDGER
- Prepare and raise sales invoices on SAP Business One and email to clients
- Set up new customer accounts on SAP as required
- Issue monthly statements to debtors
- Review aged debtors list weekly and ensure customers pay invoices according to terms
PURCHASE LEDGER
- Check suppliers invoices are valid with reference to purchase orders/delivery notes and expected costs, and input to SAP, including staff expenses and foreign currency
- Review creditors weekly and prepare payments to associates and other suppliers in accordance with ASK policies.
- Input all credit card transactions
- Check statements from suppliers and follow up on discrepancies
CASH & BANK
- Record all Bank receipts and payments into SAP daily, including foreign transactions
- Reconcile bank accounts monthly
OTHER
- Assist with month end routines including prepayments and accruals
