The Role

They're seeking an enthusiastic Business Services Accountant / Business Advisory Intermediate to join their supportive team in Sydney CBD. Working closely with senior team members, partners, and clients, your role will include:
  • Preparation of income tax returns for all entity types.
  • Preparation of financial statements and business activity statements (BAS).
  • Providing tax advice and planning solutions to clients.
  • Assisting with business advisory services, including financial performance analysis and strategy planning.
  • Conducting research on complex tax and compliance matters, including local and international issues.
  • Developing skills to lead client meetings and mentor junior team members.
About You

To thrive in this role, you'll need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business (or higher).
  • 2-3 years of experience in public practice accounting.
  • Proficiency in preparing financial statements and tax returns for various entities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with excellent time management skills.
  • Progress toward or completion of CA or CPA qualifications.
  • Enthusiasm to solve complex tax issues and assist clients with business advisory solutions.
