Our growing Risk team is looking for a seasoned risk professional to become our new Business Resilience Manager and play a pivotal and senior role shaping the future state of resilience across the firm.

You will be empowered to build and map a framework to complement our existing Risk framework for monitoring, challenging and providing assurances over the Firm’s overall business resilience.

This is a role where ambitious and insightful talent can thrive and make a noticeable impact to our aims and mission. Within our close-knit firm, you will not be a small cog in a much larger wheel - you will have the ability and support to take a major role in business critical areas and make a visible impact firm-wide with your efforts.

Your key responsibilities would be:

Identifying, reviewing, remediating and mitigating resilience risk.

Designing, evolving and embedding a robust resilience framework that includes third-party risk management.

Collaborating with Departments to evolve existing resilience & business continuity plans.

Management and monitoring of resilience scenario testing on an annual and ad hoc basis.

Undertaking root cause analysis on resilience related breaches and control failures

What we’re looking for

Qualifications

CBCI certification would be beneficial but not essential

Experience & Knowledge

Significant previous experience gained in a resilience oversight role, gained in a Financial Services environment.

Detailed understanding of the FCA Operational Resilience requirements.

Recent exposure to resilience frameworks and how they fit with broader risk frameworks.

Solid and detailed working knowledge of the FCA rulebook.

Experience in attending Risk Committees (or similar forum).

Strategic Thinking: A forward looking approach to anticipate challenges and opportunities, and align resilience plans with broader business goals.

Collaboration: Willingness to work closely with various departments and external partners to ensure a holistic approach to resilience.
