Njord Offshore is a leading provider of crew transfer vessels in the offshore windfarm sector. With a growing fleet and an expanding client base, we are dedicated to delivering a world-class service to the offshore renewable energy sector.

Role Overview: We are looking to recruit a Chartering Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for securing and managing charter agreements, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the growth of our operations. You will work closely with internal departments, ensuring the efficient utilisation of our fleet and achieving commercial objectives.

The role’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Forging a good relationship with our existing client base and developing new clients
  • Handling, evaluating and replying to charter enquiries
  • Reviewing Charterparties
  • Preparing tender documentation and bids
  • Researching future offshore wind farm markets to identify emerging opportunities
  • Preparing and presenting reports on chartering activities, market analysis, and performance metrics

Training will be provided for every aspect of the role as required.

The role will be based in our offices in Tendring, UK. However, we will consider applicants looking for a hybrid or remote role. Suitable candidates will need to travel throughout Europe for client visits and will require a UK/EU driving licence.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the maritime or offshore industry
  • Strong understanding of the offshore wind market
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
