Day-to-Day
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, focusing on specific cost lines within the retail profit and loss accounts for each store.
- Analyse financial variances compared to budget and previous years, providing insightful analysis to aid strategic decision-making.
- Serve as a key point of contact for store accounts, supporting store managers, area managers, and directors with timely and accurate financial information.
- Participate actively in Finance Review meetings, documenting discussions, and ensuring follow-through on action points to enhance store performance.
- Manage regular financial postings and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
- Contribute to the development of budgets and forecasts, providing data-driven insights to guide financial planning.
- Engage in various ad hoc projects, offering opportunities to expand your financial expertise and impact the organisation.
- A knack for mastering various software tools, including advanced spreadsheet techniques, database management, and budgeting software.
