The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Credit Manager to join our expanding Finance team. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead the Accounts Receivable (AR) team fostering a high performance culture to ensure effective management of customer accounts, adherence to credit policies, and optimisation of cash flow. This role is pivotal in overseeing collections, resolving customer inquiries, maintaining accurate account reconciliations, and minimising outstanding debt while fostering team development and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure consistent application of credit policies and procedures are adopted
  • Managing collections from customers and resolving queries
  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of customer accounts and maintain customer master data
  • Managing overdue accounts and collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Implement strategies to maximise cash flow and minimise exposure to bad debt
  • Review and release orders on credit hold in alignment with company policies
  • Reconcile major accounts monthly and provide detailed performance reports to the Group Finance Manager
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and customers to enhance collaboration and satisfaction.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience in accounts receivable, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A hands-on leader with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire your team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, effective problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to success.
  • Expertise in accounts receivable management and compliance with ethical standards.
