As Mergers and Acquisitions Manager, you will be working to acquire small and medium businesses across the UK & Ireland and wider EMEA region within the Buildings Technology Service & Solutions Industry.

How you will do it
  • Source and negotiate all acquisition targets and liaise with vendors.
  • Establish a list of targets, cultivating relationships with the target companies, establishing the deal hypothesis
  • Prepare the Business Case, create financial models and supporting valuations. Present findings to executive leadership and strong communication skills.
  • Arrange required due diligence work and participate as necessary.
  • Coordinate with all key stakeholders, including approvals and communications across multiple functions and stakeholders.
  • Project management of the M&A process for small deals in the geography.
  • Work closing with the Lead Program Manager on the new acquisition integration programs, taking a more active role where required


What we look for

Required
  • Mergers and Acquisition experience as demonstrated by deal volume
  • Experience in M&A project management including working with multiple stakeholders including, Finance, HR, legal and strategic integration team.
  • People/Function Management: Excellent interpersonal skills required
  • Excellent negotiation skills - ability to quickly build rapport, credibility, and trust at a Senior Level
  • High level of interactions with target company owners as well as multiple finance and operational business partners
  • Strong financial modelling, excel, word and PowerPoint. Executive communication and presentation skills required
  • Minimum Preference Experience: Finance experience, depending on academic background with experience in Merger and Acquisitions within a service-based industry

  • Relevant degree or professional qualification MBA/CIMA / ACA / ACCA
