**Position Overview:**

* **Location:** Hybrid (2-3 days per week on-site in downtownwaterfront Seattle)
* **Compensation:** Up to $125K per year

**Company Overview:**
Our client is a small, dynamic distribution and manufacturing company located
in the heart of Seattle. They pride themselves on their collaborative
environment and are seeking a highly skilled Full Charge BookkeeperController
to manage full-cycle accounting processes and support their growing business.

**Job Description:**
As the Full-Charge BookkeeperController, you will play a pivotal role in
managing the financial health of the company. You will be responsible for
overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial
records, handling HR functions, and providing critical financial insights to
leadership. This position is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual
with strong QuickBooks Desktop experience and 3-4+ years of comprehensive
accounting and HR management experience in a small business environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage and oversee all aspects of accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
* Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management and ownership.
* Maintain and update accounting records in QuickBooks Desktop.
* Ensure compliance with relevant local, state, and federal regulations (tax filings, payroll tax compliance, etc.).
* Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
* Prepare and process payroll, including tax filings and benefit administration.
* Oversee HR functions, including employee onboarding, benefits management, and general HR support.
* Manage cash flow, track budgets, and work with leadership on financial strategy.
* Develop and maintain efficient systems for accounting processes and reporting.
* Act as the point of contact for external accountants, auditors, and tax preparers.

**Qualifications:**

* 3-4+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, ideally in a small business or manufacturingdistribution environment.
* Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop.
* Experience with payroll, HR management, and benefits administration.
* Solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Experience with manufacturing or distribution accounting.
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
* Knowledge of HR software and tools (preferably Gusto).
