Castlefield have been instructed by a metropolitan and progressive organisation in the South Yorkshire region to assist them with the search for a Finance Manager. Role:
  • Responsible for the management of a financial and commercial services team
  • Act as a champion and expert on financial systems: playing a pivotal role in the development, implementation, and optimisation of their financial systems
  • Partner and collaborate with colleagues across the business to design and implement best-in-class financial processes
  • Be a business expert in data integrity, security, and compliance within financial systems, mitigating risks and safeguarding financial information
  • Financial reporting to senior leadership to inform on strategic financial decisions
  • Play a key role in system upgrades and implementations, ensuring staff are thoroughly trained and leading to minimal disruption

Person:
  • You will be a qualified Accountant (CCAB/CIMA) with 5+ experience in similar roles
  • Advanced IT skills comprising Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint and SAP or equivalent
  • Possess experience in a large, complex accounting environment with proven technical accounting skills, including forecasting, budgeting, and planning
  • You will have a proven track record in staff management
  • Be able to demonstrate effective written and presentation skills, with an ability to produce concise and meaningful reports
