We are currently looking for an experienced Management Accountant, available immediately or on short notice for a 6-month contract. The role includes the full spectrum, from Balance Sheet reconciliation, Profit and Loss statements to Budget setting within a fast-moving organisation.
THE JOB
Prepare and manage the monthly management accounts, ensuring timely reporting and analysis.
Assist in the development and monitoring of the annual budget and forecasting.
Support the finance team in maintaining and reconciling the balance sheet accounts.
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and variance reports.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of financial goals and adherence to compliance.
Contribute to the year-end financial statements and liaise with external auditors.
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance department.
THE PERSON
Proven experience as a Management Accountant
Strong understanding of P&L, budgeting, analysis, and balance sheet management
Excellent analytical skills and a keen attention to detail
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
Able to hit the ground running and be proactive
