Finance Manager

Currently we are the largest Exporter of Sauces in Sri Lanka covering up over 26 countries including the major markets such as USA, Canada and Europe. We are looking for experienced, energetic and self motivated individuals who comply with the following qualifications and requisites to join our team as a Finance Manager .

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish financial controls by best practices to develop and implement organizational financial goals.
• Deliver recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities and execute capital-raising strategies to support the organization's expansion.
• Monitor and prepare monthly financial statements/reports, cash flows, and daily liquidity position, and manage funds and expenses to minimize the company's financial costs.
• Provide leadership in the development of the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
• Establish and manage the annual budgeting process and present it to the board.
• Develop and monitor policies and procedures within generally accepted accounting principles and corporate guidelines.
• Assess monthly operating reports for accuracy, completeness, and variances between actual forecast and budget.
• Review debt collections; attend debtors' meetings, recovery of current and overdue debts with a proper follow-up procedure.
• Evaluate inventory aging periodically, carry out physical verifications, and formulate strategies to minimize stock holding costs.
• Carryout annual statutory audit, and liaise with tax authorities and other regulatory authorities, while being statutorily compliant.

REQUIREMENT

• A Degree in Accounting /Finance /commerce or Economics.
• Be a member of CA Sri Lanka, ACCA or CIMA.
• Possess at least 10 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 02 years in a similar capacity.
• Minimum of 02 years of work exposure in the FMCG sector is a pre-requisite.
• Strong analytical, planning & organizational skills.
• Ability to manage sound relations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate good communication skills & interpersonal skills.
• Should have exposure in an organization with Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing aspects together.
• Be a well-experienced candidate preferably below 40 years of age.
