A prestigious Shrewsbury organisation is looking to recruit an Audit Manager to join its growing but well-established team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to further develop their skills and broaden their experience.

The main purpose of the role is in the delivery of audit and assurance assignments within agreed budgeted timescales and in accordance with the International Standards on Auditing (UK and Ireland).

Key Skills and Experience required

• Be ACA / ACCA qualified
• Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Ability to manage their own portfolio
• Up to date knowledge of Auditing standards including FRS and IFRS
• Self-motivated and driven with a passion to succeed
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
• Providing technical guidance and support to team members to enhance capability and build a culture of continuous learning
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience using Caseware, desirable but not essential
