A scaling IT Consultancy is seeking a driven and experienced Financial Controller to join their team part-time. As the sole-charge Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing their financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.

Your new role

• Manage the entire billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
• Monitor cash flow, forecast future trends, and implement strategies to optimise liquidity.
• Analyse expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to control costs effectively.
• Contribute to revenue growth by providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Developing and managing annual budgets, tracking performance against targets and making necessary adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and laws.

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• IT Consultancy experience is essential.
• Previous experience as a Financial Controller is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero).
• A solid understanding of financial principles and best practices.
