Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant with 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in export manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial aspects of our export operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to optimize profitability and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support decision-making.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, including revenue projections, expense management, and cash flow forecasting.
• Monitor budget performance and take proactive measures to address deviations.
3. Tax Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations related to export operations.
• Coordinate with tax authorities and external consultants to optimize tax efficiency and minimize risks.
4. Internal Controls and Risk Management:
• Develop and implement internal control procedures to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.
• Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with internal policies and procedures.
5. Cost Management:
• Analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead, to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Implement cost control measures to improve profitability without compromising quality.
6. Treasury Management:
• Manage cash flow, including monitoring liquidity, optimizing working capital, and overseeing foreign exchange transactions.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and recommend strategies to maximize returns.
7. Compliance and Regulatory Reporting:
• Ensure compliance with export regulations, including documentation requirements, customs duties, and trade agreements.
• Prepare and submit statutory financial statements and regulatory filings accurately and on time.
8. Financial Planning and Strategy:
• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management to support business growth and expansion.
• Evaluate investment proposals, assess financial feasibility, and recommend capital allocation decisions.
Qualifications:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• 5 to 6 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles within export manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and taxation.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proven track record of leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making.
