Job Details:
Job Summary: This role is part of our Program Planning & Controls (PP&C) team partnering with the project management team to control and analyze project costs, reporting and modeling, and ensure financial targets are met. This position will be responsible for team training and results. The function is responsible for activities related to finance, treasury, financial planning and analysis, financial management, regulatory reporting, and tax. This role is part of a global team managing earned value, cost and change management, cash and revenue forecasting on complex, large-scale projects in a dynamic environment. Manages the financial resources to generate profit and contributes to the productivity of other business functions, planning and decision-making activities. This position works under limited supervision and incumbents will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a tertiary institution
• Qualified CA / CPA or equivalent with 5+ years post qualified experience
Skills/Experience/Knowledge

• 8 years Project accounting or management accounting experience
• Excellent computer and advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge and understanding of a project-based environment within which businesses need to operate, both locally and globally.
• Ability to understand the detail and identify areas for business improvement
• Ability to actively be an influencer and integral member of the Finance Team
• Able to cope with change and conflicting demands
• A proactive decision maker, able to work unsupervised
• Exceptional analytical and interpretative skills
• Ability to produce quality written and verbal commentary for project reporting and decision-making

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, forecast, and manage project budget allocation, revenue and cash flows, and costs.
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensure timely and clear communication regarding project status, risks, and changes.
- Works in accordance with company policies for earned value methodologies.
- Help implement and maintain processes and tools to manage project costs, schedules, and risks supporting compliance and continuous improvement.
- Understand all cost and revenue components of a project contract.
- Ensure delivery and presentation of timely, accurate and compliant project financial and regional results and status monthly.
- Understands and works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors and provides solutions to issues in creative and effective ways.
- Create, update, and monitor SaaS billings and cost models for multiple programs.
- SAP and other system tools are used for budgeting, forecasting, and project management.
- Supports project operations team by monitoring and analyzing project costs, identifying variances, and working with the team to address them.
- Participate in solving problems, monitoring risk mitigation strategies and execution of risk management processes with the project operations team.
- Ensure information integrity for project status, contract values and estimates to completion as represented by project/contract managers.
- Supports the development and review of detailed integrated schedules in close collaboration with the technical leads and project managers.
- Comfortable collaborating with company groups and key contacts outside in a variety of business areas, including engineering and development.
- Monitors and analyzes Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to ensure both activities are timely and correct.
- Prepares financial analysis and reports for internal stakeholders and management review meetings.
- Supports internal and external audits.
