We currently have an exciting opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic Accountant to join our team. With experience in accounting, this role is best suited to a confident, detail-oriented and proactive individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate budgetary planning and accounting policies based on assessment of income and expenses.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
- Evaluate the cash-flow, financial risks, costs and return ratio for ongoing and future business operations.
- Provide accounting and financial advice for business administration, decisions, planning, ongoing operations and taxation.
- Manage financial records and reports, investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies to ensure accuracy of information contained in financial reports and compliance with statutory obligations.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement financial strategies and assist in the preparation of forecasting reports.
- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Implement, manage and revise accounting system of the company.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or a related discipline
- A minimum of 3 years' extensive hands-on experience in Accounting
- A high level of general accounting knowledgeA keen eye for detail and the ability to meet deadlines
- CA/CPA certification (desirable)
- Proficiency in using accounting software
