Accountant Grade II in the Civil Service

Civil Service Departments are looking for people with the potential to take on responsibilities in the role of Accountant Grade II. The environment within which this role operates is very complex and high administrative standards are required to meet the considerable challenges of the present time.

Candidates must have full membership of a prescribed accountancy body supervised by the Irish Auditing and Accounting Supervisory Authority (IAASA) and at least 3 years’ relevant experience. In addition, they must have excellent process management and organisational skills and a proven ability to manage a challenging and diverse workload and work effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
