Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Management Accountant to join finance team of one of our clients based in Lincolnshire.
Serve as a financial partner to the commercial team, ensuring precise and achievable budgeting and forecasting.
Evaluate financial performance against plans, highlighting areas for improvement.
Collaborate with other finance team members to maintain role coverage across the department.
Core
Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the creation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts for the commercial team.
* Generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports and analysis for leadership review.
* Prepare monthly management accounts for two distinct business units.
* Provide insights and constructive challenge to the sales team during budgeting.
* Track and assess budget performance, offering actionable recommendations.
* Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop detailed cost analyses.
About You:
* Progressing towards an accredited accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Experience in the manufacturing sector.
* Strong numerical and communication skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and other IT tools.
