Group Management Accountant

Your new company
A very exciting, global retailer is looking to hire a Group Financial Accountant - a newly created position - to assist their finance team. You'll report into both the UK Finance Manager & Europe Finance Manager, assisting both with managing the month-end process & full management accounts.

Your new role
Reporting to the UK Finance Manager & Europe Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for:

• Produce month-end and year-end journals.
• Full management accounts ownership
• Produce financial statements including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, management accounts, variance analysis, and commentaries
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations for relevant balance sheet accounts
• Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
• Review accounting/business processes and practices and improve where necessary to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting
• Ad-hoc finance projects

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with experience as a management accountant within industry (open on sector, but retail or similar would be advantageous).
