Near Harleston, Norfolk
Salary:
£30,000 - £34,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
We are excited to be recruiting an experienced Accounts Assistant on behalf of our client for a full-time, permanent role. This opportunity is based on the outskirts of Harleston, so access to your own transport is essential.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organised professional with strong experience in accounting and finance. Accounting qualification is desirable but not essential.
Salary information:
Competitive salary of £30,000 - £34,000 per annum, depending on experience.
21 days of annual leave plus 8 bank holidays.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Key
Responsibilities:
Balancing accounts and ensuring accuracy.
Reviewing and reconciling company bank statements.
Processing sales invoices, receipts, and payments.
Managing purchase invoices and payments.
Handling debit and credit control processes.
Overseeing cash flow and preparing VAT returns.
Organising and filing financial paperwork.
Preparing statements of income and expenditure.
Reporting management budgets to Directors and Managers.
Processing payroll for all staff.
Producing monthly management accounts and assisting with budget creation.
Supporting the preparation of annual accounts.
Providing administrative support to accountants.
