Financial Controller - Interim

Your new role
An interim Financial Controller role, reporting to the Financial Director and leading a small team of 4 staff.
You will be responsible for all aspects of day to day financial control, reporting and analysis for the UK. This will include Monthly Management Accounts, Year End close and Cost Accounting. You will also work to improve the Standard Costing of products and develop the financial systems and processes to deliver better management information and analysis.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant, with experience of a Finance Manager / Financial Controller role in a manufacturing business. As well as hands-on Management and Financial Accounting experience, you will have a good understanding of standard costing or other forms of cost analysis. You will be comfortable leading a small established team of staff and be highly IT literate. Previous experience of systems development or implementation projects would be an advantage, as would previous interim contracting experience. You will be available to start in the new year and happy to commit to at least six months.
