Assistant Accountant

Your new role
In this position you will be supporting several business entities and their senior finance leaders. Working collaboratively, you will be liaising with stakeholders and finance business partners in sharing commercial information and providing month-end reporting. Day to day, you will be performing record to report activities for your given entities and closing the monthly management accounts accordingly. You will also process bi-weekly cash-flow forecasts, reviewing these with senior accountants. You will also liaise with the various finance teams to gain clarity on the business transactions and implications.

What you'll need to succeed
This will be a challenging position that will require you to have already started your professional qualifications along with a recent track record in accounting from general ledger reconciliations, accruals/prepayments and fixed assets to experience in liaising with stakeholders and finance business partners alike. You will be able to demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills in order to build relationships with colleagues. Strong Excel and IT skills are essential, as well as being team-orientated with a personable and ambitious mind set.
