Meraki Accountancy & Finance’s market leading client based in the heart of Glasgow city centre are looking to add a Tax Manager to the current team. This is a key role within the wider finance function and the successful candidate will be responsible for providing indirect tax advisory and compliance services. Providing sound technical tax guidance and managing tax related projects. key duties of the role include:

• Manage indirect tax queries as and when they arise from the business and wider finance teams.
• Support the Senior Tax Manager in ad hoc planning and tax related projects.
• Indirect tax returns reviews.
• Management of the day-to-day VAT compliance.
• Support with indirect tax audits.
• Manage relationships with external bodies including audit and HMRC.

Experience required:

• CTA / ICAS / ACCA Qualified with 4 years PQE.
• Strong knowledge of VAT.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work to challenging deadlines.
• Comfortable working to challenging deadlines.
