The Role:

A private equity backed market intelligence business is seeking their first CFO. As CFO, you will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board, driving both financial and operational success. This role offers the opportunity to shape the financial direction of a business poised for ambitious growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implement robust financial systems, controls, and processes to support scaling operations.
• Support both organic growth initiatives and M&A activity to expand the business footprint.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for private equity stakeholders, delivering insightful reporting and fostering alignment.
• Closely manage cashflow, working capital and covenant reporting
• Leverage understanding of subscription-based business models to optimise revenue streams and ensure sustainable growth.

Key requirements

• Qualified Accountant - ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA or equivalent
• Track record of transforming and streamlining finance functions in high-growth environments.
• Leading financial strategy to support both organic and acquisitive growth.
• Prior experience of managing relationships with private equity investors.
• Demonstrable understanding of subscription-based or recurring revenue business models.
