Accounts Assistant
I am currently recruiting on behalf of my prestigious client, based in Northwich, for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Office Manager to ensure the smooth running of the companies accounts department.
The role involves data entry, payroll administration, finance system maintenance, bank reconciliations, expense processing, customer communication, invoice handling, and team support. It also involves managing accounts, ensuring accurate time recording and invoicing, and assisting team members with workloads.
About the role:
* Data entry including Payroll Administration
* Managing the accounts email inbox
* Daily and monthly bank reconciliations
* Processing Expenses, bank payments
* Chasing invoices
* Provide administration support to team members
Hours and Pay:
* Monday to Friday
* Salary up to £30,000 - dependent on experience
About you:
* Proven Finance/Accounts Assistant experience is essential
* Xero/QuickBooks or Sage accounting experience is also desired
* Competent daily user of Microsoft Office and Excel
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to meet deadlines and targets
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
