Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including detailed commentary and performance comparisons against budget and prior year.
- Produce journals, accruals, prepayments, deferred costs/income, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing statutory accounts and support external audit processes.
- Manage project revenue recognition processes, collaborating closely with project managers.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and record acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
- Oversee intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate reconciliations and file management.
- Support managers in budget preparation and monitoring, providing expert advice and analysis to help manage budgets effectively.
- Respond to finance-related queries from stakeholders across the business.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance system automation.
- Act as a mentor to junior finance team members, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
- Process online banking transactions.
About You:
- A Part Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
- 2+ years’ experience in finance, with proficiency in and Excel.
- Strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills.
- A team player with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
