Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Audit Assistant to join our team at Chandak Agarwal & Co. As an Audit Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in various auditing tasks and ensuring compliance with auditing standards. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and requires a junior candidate with 1 to 3 years of experience.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in auditing.
  • Solid understanding of auditing principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of direct and indirect taxation and GST audit.
  • Familiarity with auditing standards and procedures.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and identify inconsistencies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in relevant auditing software and Microsoft Office suite.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting audits of financial statements and internal controls.
  • Follow auditing standards and procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial records.
  • Perform risk assessments and identify areas of potential improvement.
  • Prepare audit workpapers and support documentation.
