Accounts Assistant - Tiptree
* £28 - £30k
* 100% office based
* Full-time or part-time across 5 days
Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about finance? We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our small but dynamic finance team.
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our finance operations while contributing to the overall success of the business.
Your
Responsibilities:
* Accounts Payable processing using a semi-automated system (overheads, bill of materials, UK and foreign transactions).
* Processing supplier payment runs.
* Maintaining and updating the sales ledger.
* Ensuring customer accounts are accurate and up to date.
* Accruals and prepayment postings.
* Posting transactions into Sage Accounting.
* Investigating invoice discrepancies and resolving queries.
* Reconciling supplier statements.
* Maintaining the vehicle database.
* Assisting with quarterly VAT returns.
* Posting expense claims.

* Strong commercial and business awareness.
* Excellent communication skills to build relationships at all levels.
* Proficient in IT systems with an analytical mindset.
