Jenson Fisher, have been engaged on an exclusive basis to recruit a Group Accountant, on a full-time permanent basis for a rapidly expanding client based in North Lanarkshire. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the successful candidate will be Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/CA) and will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of a group of companies within a dynamic organisation. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be tasked with driving forward process improvements whilst also ensuring that reporting deadlines are achieved in an accurate and timely manner.On a day-to-day basis your responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for preparing Monthly MI for the Group and a number of affiliated companies
• Assisting with Audit, Control and Reconciliation of the business assets - Hire Finance, Business Insurance, Banking arrangement etc.
• Working with the team to identify and implement operational processes and systems improvements
• Cost and overhead control
• Ad hoc reporting

Background and Experience

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA or ICAS)
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in management and statutory accounts
• Highly proficient in Excel and knowledge of Sage 200
• Enthusiastic proactive attitude with strength to work under pressure
• Able to convey financial information to a variety of stakeholders
• A desire to continuously improve and innovate.
