Job Opportunity: Finance Consolidation Specialist

Location: Glasgow

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM)

Schedule: 3 days onsite and 2 days work from home

Travel: Based in Glasgow with occasional travel to London

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Consolidation: Combine and analyze financial results from multiple entities to produce precise and timely group reports.
• Statutory Reporting: Prepare year-end statutory accounts and reporting packs in compliance with IFRS standards.
• Journals and Adjustments: Post consolidation journals, resolve intercompany mismatches, and apply IFRS-related adjustments.
• System Accuracy: Ensure data consistency across financial systems, reconciling discrepancies where necessary.
• Audit Support: Provide documentation and responses to external audit queries.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and enhance reporting workflows in collaboration with finance teams.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business goals effectively.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualifications: Part-qualified or Fully Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Experience: Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial consolidations, and audit processes.
• Technical Expertise: Familiarity with financial systems such as Oracle Fusion is a plus.
