Assistant Accountant // Warrington // £35.000

We have a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified Assistant Accountant to join a leading, Global Manufacturing firm in Warrington.

You'll join a high performing finance team based in Warrington and will contribute to the smooth running of the finance function.

The duties will include:

Submission of VAT returns
Fixed Asset Management
Managing the Capex and Projects for the site, including financial budget v actual tracker
Prepare accounts for the UK entity - monthly submissions, annual planning/quarterly forecasts
Participate in inventory stock counts and identify deviations
Tracking spend for onsite maintenance ,with consideration of target within annual plan
Cost centre variance analysis, comparing budget and actual costs
Balance sheet reconciliations
Inter-company reconciliations
Bank reconciliations
Assist with Corporation Tax calculations including consolidation of all UK entities
Skills and experience:

AAT qualified or CIMA part-qualified
Strong accounting knowledge/experience, preferably in manufacturing sector
Good IT and Finance Systems skills
Confidence to work with other departments and external parties
Flexibility over month end
Working 4 days in the office, 1 day wfh
