Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Income Auditor to join our team at The Den, Bengaluru. As an Income Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions related to the hotel's income. This role is crucial in maintaining the financial health of the organization and requires a high level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in income auditing, and will play a key role in the financial operations of the hotel.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in income auditing or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
  • Proficiency in using financial management software and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in income auditing.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Verify and reconcile daily revenue reports from various hotel departments.
  • Ensure the accuracy of room charges, food and beverage sales, and other income.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial records to identify any discrepancies or errors.
  • Investigate and resolve any issues related to revenue discrepancies or irregularities.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly income reports for management review.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and budgets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement effective financial controls and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices in income auditing.
