Position Title: Area Credit Manager - Large Corporates
Key Objectives of the Role:
Handle responsibilities related to the Area Credit Manager profile.
Evaluate and assess Credit Approval Memorandum (CAM) notes and financial models submitted by the business team.
Prepare credit notes and financial models with accurate information sourced from the business team, public domain, and other resources.
Structure transactions in compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory frameworks.
Conduct critical analysis of the business, promoters, industry, financials, and specific risks related to each transaction.
Clearly articulate risks and corresponding mitigations, along with sanction conditions and recommendations.
Major Deliverables:
Prepare comprehensive credit notes detailing transaction structuring and assessment, focusing on the credit facility evaluation.
Perform in-depth financial analysis, addressing significant movements in profit and loss statements and balance sheets, and citing precise reasons for variances in accordance with accounting standards.
Proficiently work with Excel-based financial modeling, managing large spreadsheets that analyze cash flows interlinked with other data.
Critically evaluate transaction risks, including business, financial, and industry risks associated with the borrower.
Identify relevant risks and submit appropriate mitigations for each.
Educational Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant or Post-Graduate in Finance.
Desired Experience:
Minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience.
At least a few years of experience in underwriting within the large/mid corporate segment, including evaluating high-ticket size exposures.
