Position: Tax/Finance Specialist

Key Responsibilities (the list is not exhaustive)

• Provide strategic tax compliance and advisory services to multinational clients, ensuring adherence to international tax laws, treaties, and local regulations.
• Manage stamp duty confirmation applications for share transfers, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Prepare and draft detailed responses for tax-related disputes or clarifications with local and international tax authorities.
• Ensure compliance with inter-company tax regulations by preparing and analysing transfer pricing documentation.
• Monitor and interpret changes in tax laws, advising clients on regulatory updates, risks, and opportunities.
• Offer expert guidance on local and cross-border transactions, optimising tax strategies for compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Tax or Finance.
• Bcom degree with modules relating to Tax, Finance, Business, or similar.
• Candidate must not be doing their articles or seeking a career in financial accounting.
• Some experience with UK tax law and regulation
• Some experience working with UK based clients.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in working with numbers.
• Some knowledge of tax compliance or legal regulations in South Africa and United Kingdom.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Position Type: Full time permanent position based in office.

Location: Claremont, Cape Town.

Salary offered: R25 000-R30 000 CTC per month, depending on experience.
