The Senior Accountant of Regan Digital Studios "RDS" is responsible for overseeing financial accounting of the company. Including but not restricted to General Ledger, Accruals, COGS, Job Cost Detail Management, Payroll Reporting, Sales Tax Filing, reconciling all related companies and intercompany transactions.
The Senior Accountant is responsible for assembling all RDS information on a monthly basis and prepare, on a monthly basis, closing work papers and trial balance by the 12th of the following month and financial statement.
The Senior Accountant also oversees any bookkeeper or other financially oriented personnel fulfilling RDS needs.
The Senior Accountant reports to the President of RDG and Corporate Chief Financial Officer.
Financial Duties:

Records payroll
·
Responsible for Regan Digital Services financial operations, creating P&Ls for each client engagement.
·
Assists the CFO in completing necessary forms for sales and other taxes for filing to Federal and state agencies.
·
Maintains the general ledger.
·
Reviews and maintains all insurance for the business.
·
Provides CFO with financial information weekly.
·
Maintains accurate reporting of all intercompany transactions. This includes all health, dental, short-term disability, FSA 401K and 401K loan deductions from payroll which are processed from the Boston office. This also involves any client invoicing being billed through the related companies Regan Communications Group, Pierce-Coté or Quinn & Hary.

Assists the CFO in providing outside CPA with end-of-year records for corporate tax and other filings as required.
Duties where accounting doubles as Human Resources/Miscellaneous:

Supports HR in maintaining RDS employee records including employee absences and other information affecting wages, deductions, etc.
·
Supports HR in providing employees with necessary claim forms and assistance when needed.
