Head of Finance-German Speaking

A London-based tech company is looking for a Head of Finance to oversee the financial operations of their European entities.

Your new role

• Prepare monthly management accounts, assist with consolidated accounts, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage cash flow, forecast requirements, and oversee supplier payments.
• Conduct weekly/monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit VAT, Intrastat, and EC sales/purchase returns.
• Prepare payroll data for submission to the payroll bureau.
• Manage the year-end audit and prepare the necessary documentation.
• Manage and develop the finance team, implementing efficient processes and KPIs.
• Design and implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure operational efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA OR CIMA)
• Fluent in English and German (French is a plus)
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel
• Proven experience of managing teams
• Experience with Business Central Dynamics 365 (preferred)
