Role Responsibilities

• Prepare self-assessment tax returns and calculate tax liabilities
• Produce forms P11D and draft income and expenditure accounts, including rental accounts
• Liaise directly with clients, providing clear and effective communication
• Support the Tax Manager with HMRC investigations and one-off assignments such as capital allowance reviews
• Handle correspondence with HMRC and other external stakeholders like solicitors, accountants, and financial advisors
• Contribute to future tax planning for high-net-worth individuals
• Balance a focus on compliance with opportunities to provide advisory services

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications: ATT, CTA, ACA, or ACCA (or part-qualified).

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a tax or accountancy role.

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills to convey complex tax issues in a straightforward way.
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Proficiency in IT systems and software.
