Key Responsibilities

• Audit Leadership: Manage all aspects of the audit department, including maintaining procedures and conducting prospective client interviews.
• Client Relationships: Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met while fostering strong, long-lasting partnerships.
• Team Management: Train, mentor, and appraise the audit team to ensure professional development and a high-performing department.
• Accounts and Tax Work: Oversee audit processes, accounts preparation, VAT returns, and corporate tax compliance.
• Business Development: Contribute to the firm’s growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding the charity sector portfolio, and attending management meetings.
• Workflow and Billing: Manage workflows, control budgets, and take responsibility for billing and debtor collection.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to professional standards, audit regulations, and office procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• ACA, ACCA qualified with significant audit experience in UK practice
• Proven track record of managing audit teams and overseeing client portfolios
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A career-driven individual keen to progress within a reputable firm

What’s On Offer
