We are supporting a well-established and growing firm of Chartered Accountants in their search for a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, to join their team based in Huddersfield. Known for having a unique tax offering for a firm of this size, this firm deals with a wide array of clients comparable to large top 100 firms. The wide range of clients ensures your work is varied and interesting, offering challenging yet rewarding work. The firm are keen for someone to make a long-term commitment to join their prominent tax team, where you will see genuine progression opportunities. About the role:
- Managing a small, diverse portfolio of clients to enable you to work autonomously.
- Preparation and review of Corporation Tax returns
- Identifying tax planning opportunities.
- Contribute to the business development of the firm, forming long-term professional relationships with clients to ensure the success of the firm.
- Support junior members of the team with their training and development, aiding their progression through training and reviewing.
- A personal tax portfolio can be incorporated if experienced in personal tax.
- 3+ years’ Practice experience as either a Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax Senior/Assistant Manager
- Strong corporate tax experience.
- ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified.
