Financial Controller

South Manchester - hybrid



Salary:
circa £60,000- £70,000 DOE

We are currently recruiting for a qualified Financial Controller to join a high growth, E-commerce business based in South Manchester. Due to exceptional growth over the last few years, they are seeking a strong Finance Manager/ Financial Controller to strengthen their growing team.

This is a pivotal role where you can really add value, driving efficiencies and executing financial controls and processes, in line with the company's growth. The successful candidate will thrive working in a fast paced, high growth environment and have proven experience developing a team.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide accurate and timely management reporting to assist to business stakeholders and aid decision making & strategic planning
• Oversee and coordinate the month end process, including balance sheet reconciliations
• Liaise with external auditors
• Manage the budgeting and reforecasting process
• Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements
• Review and develop accounting processes & practices and improve where necessary to ensure continuous improvement across all financial operations
• Lead, manage and develop the finance team

Skills & Attributes:

• Proven experience in a similar role within ecommerce, retail, manufacturing or similar, in a fast-paced/ high growth environment
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate and develop a team
• Strong communicator and detail focused
• Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
• Advanced Excel skills
