Finance Manager

Based: Wythenshawe



Salary:
up to £60k (dependent on experience) + 27 days holiday + bonus + private medical + non-contributory enhanced pension + progression

I am working with a fantastic, growing SME business in the services industry looking for a Management Accountant to join the team. Having grown over the last few years through acquisition, they have recently been acquired themselves offering a unique and exciting opportunity for someone to progress their career offering the opportunity to become Finance Director over the next few years

Role will report to the Managing Director taking complete ownership for finance and 1 team member whilst offering group finance exposure

Role:

• Preparing monthly management accounts for business
• Collaborating internally with senior Directors, driving change and efficiencies
• Balance sheet reconciliations, P&L and cash flow management
• Overseeing finance duties including accruals, prepayments, VAT returns
• Fixed asset register reconciliations, supporting auditors with year end
• Supporting on system migration project in 2025
• Bank reconciliations
• Overseeing transactional/Purchase Ledger duties ensuring timely processes

Experience:

• ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Management Accounts & cashflow experience essential
• Pro-active, keen to develop and learn
• Forward thinking with a desire to progress your career
• Confident in your abilities
