Otto James Consulting is supporting a Wilmslow based Green Biotechnology Organisation is sourcing a talented Management Accountant, looking for their next career step. Our client is keen to bring on board a Part to Newly Qualified Accountant who is looking to be part of an organisation which is making a difference to global wellbeing. Providing a solution to global pollution is key to our client, and has been a cornerstone of their inception in 2019. The planets oceans are key, and this is the area that our client has a unique product, targeting microplastics and their effective, and environmentally friendly disposal.Securing private equity backing in 2021 has seen our client grow exponentially. As with the ethos of the organisation, they have looked to the market for talent to nurture and develop. The Role:The title of Management Accountant, covers a number of aspect to this role, however our client is keen to stress that this is a title and it does not define the individual. The ideal candidate will see the scope and the breadth of this position, with every day being new and challenging. Duties will include-Delivering high quality real time reports for the management teamDelivering and improving the current board packs to ensure efficiencies across groupAnalysing variances and providing commentary to the senior stakeholdersOwn budgeting and forecastingMaintaining key relationships both within finance and across the businessInvolved with automating and improving controls and processesAd-hoc projects as directed by the Senior Leadership Teams. Your Profile:The successful candidate should have a “can do attitude” and be willing to “roll their sleeves” and get involved with the business.
