am urgently seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join a dynamic not-for-profit organisation during a critical period, providing vital support with management accounts and finance systems projects!

Based in Cheshire with a hybrid working pattern, this three-month role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while collaborating closely with operational stakeholders.

The main responsibilities of the Interim Management Accountant include:

• Producing a full set of management accounts to inform decision-making.
• Addressing financial queries from non-financial operational stakeholders.
• Supporting the implementation of a new finance system, including system sourcing.
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets to ensure robust financial planning.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified accountant (or qualified by experience).
• Have strong experience in producing management accounts.
• Ideally have experience in the charity or not-for-profit sector, though this is not essential.
• Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with non-financial stakeholders.
