Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• 2+ years of experience in credit control or risk management (compulsory)
• Strong understanding of credit assessment principles
• Familiar with regulatory requirements (AML, KYC, FICA)

Responsibilities

Credit Vetting

• Conduct thorough credit checks on new and existing Customers
• Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant documents
• Evaluate creditworthiness based on established criteria
• Recommend credit limits and terms
• Monitor Customer credit exposure and adjust limits as needed

Compliance & Risk Management

• Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices
• Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations
• Identify and report potential risks to management

Administrative Tasks

• Maintain accurate and organized credit files
• Update Customer information in the database
• Generate credit reports and analytics
